Referenced by ANSI A17.1; Rules 207.4 and 207.5a. and/or 2: Follow the guidelines in ANSI A17.1 for the proper rules to convert a freight elevator into a passenger elevator. This would include the addition of properly installed inside elevator and landing gate/door of a minimum height of 6 foot with the appropriate limitation signs. ANSI A17.1; rules in section 110, rule 204.6c, rule 207.4, and rule 207.5a. Abatement Certification and Abatement Documentation required.
