Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive injuries due to collapse of the wooden roof in the lumber and building material storage, used by the employees to dispatch merchandise. At the time of inspection the roof was falling down due to broken timber located at the west side of the entrance in the storage area.Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to repair the wooden roof to avoid collapse. a. Recibir lesiones dado a colapso del techo de madera en el almacen de maderas y materiales de construccion, usado por los empleados para despachar mercancias. Al tiempo de la inpeccion el techo estaba callendose, dado a la madera rota, estaba localizado al lado oeste de la entrada al area del almacen. Entre otros metodos de correcion , un metodo factible y aceptable de correcion para reducir este riesgo es reparar el techo de madera para evitar el colapso.
