Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the offices of the "Facturacion y cobros", the employees were performing clerical task. There were observed leaks through of roof. The origin of the leaks come from the third floor. The leaks were water with chlorine and germicide. Hazard: Falls and pest harborage. Contact with chemical products on the eyes, skin and respiratory tract. Among other correction methods, one feasible and acceptable to correct this hazard is, to provide a complete repair of the corroded piping that caused leaks through of roof. En las oficinas de Facturacion y Cobros, los empleados estaban realizando trabajo clerical. Se observo que habia filtraciones en el techo. El origen de las filtraciones provenia del tercer piso. Las filtraciones eran agua con cloro y germicida. Riesgo: Caidas y desarrollo de sabandijas. Contacto con productos quimicos sobre los ojos, piel y tracto respiratorio. Entre otros metodos de correccion, uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es, proveer una reparacion completa de la tuberia corroida que causo las filtraciones a traves del techo.
