Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): If at any time a powered industrial truck is found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe, the truck shall be taken out of service until it has been restored to safe operating condition. On or about December 9, 2025, at an establishment located at 5800 West Drive, Manitowoc, Wisconsin: employees were exposed to hazards related to powered industrial vehicle operation while utilizing the Toyota sit down forklift 53 (Model: 8FBE20U, Serial: 11016) which had damage including, but not limited to radial cracking and tires that were pulling away from the rim.
