Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from concrete mixing trucks: (a) Wells Concrete Products Co., 2145 E Crown Prince Blvd., Brighton, CO: On or before September 15, 2025, the employer did not ensure employees working in the vicinity of an Oshkosh S-Series Front Discharge Mixer Truck were protected from struck-by hazards. An employee was fatally injured after being struck by a forward-moving concrete mixer truck while he was walking backwards and raking the newly poured concrete form in the company yard.
