OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards involving a damaged structural metal post supporting an exterior stairway and landing: On or about August 20, 2025, employees were exposed to fall heights greater than 12 feet when utilizing an exterior fixed stairway and landing located on the east side of the separator building which was supported by a damaged structural post that was corroded, bowing, and displaying signs of metal fatigue involving a horizontal crack in the middle of the post. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet onto the lower level.
