29 CFR 1926.200(g)(1): Construction areas were not posted with legible traffic signs at points of hazards: a) Kenton Road Northbound at the intersection with Greentree Drive, Dover, DE 19709: On or about August 4, 2025, employees were exposed to struck by/caught in hazards when the employer failed to provide traffic signs to assist traffic in understanding traffic pattern changes due to intermittent lane closures for curb installation work where employees stopped traffic to allow for construction vehicles to enter/exit the site and there were no traffic signs present at the point of hazard such as a "Flagger Ahead". b) Greenway Lane Westbound at the intersection with Kenton Road, Dover, DE 19709: On or about August 4, 2025, employees were exposed to struck by/caught in hazards when the employer failed to provide traffic signs to assist traffic in understanding traffic pattern changes due to intermittent lane closures for curb installation work where employees stopped traffic to allow for construction vehicles to enter/exit the site and there were no traffic signs present at the point of hazard such as a "Flagger Ahead". The MUMFORD & MILLER CONCRETE, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.200(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1641233, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/29/2024, with respect to a workplace located at Rt 24 And Oak Orchard Millsboro, DE 19966. The MUMFORD & MILLER CONCRETE, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.200(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1521400, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/1/2022, with respect to a workplace located at East of Plantation Road on Hwy 24 In front of 19041 John J Williams Hwy Rehoboth, DE 19971.
