29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems: a.) Genesis Roofing and Construction, LLC.; 552 W. 12th Street, Erie, PA - On or about 7/1/25, and at times prior thereto, employees were engaged in roofing activities on a flat roof. There was an area on the southeast corner of the lower roof that was missing a section of the guardrail system. Workers were exposed to fall hazard of 15 feet. b.) Genesis Roofing and Construction, LLC.; 552 W. 12th Street, Erie, PA - On or about 7/1/25, and at times prior thereto, employees were engaged in roofing activities on a flat roof. There was an area on the southwest corner of the lower roof that was missing a section of the guardrail system creating a potential fall hazard. Workers were exposed to fall hazard of 15 feet. c.) Genesis Roofing and Construction, LLC.; 552 W. 12th Street, Erie, PA - On or about 7/1/25, and at times prior thereto, employees were engaged in roofing activities on a flat roof. There was a warning line being used on the higher roof but employees were working outside of the warning line system. Workers were exposed to a fall hazard of 7'6" to the lower roof and 22' from the front of the roof to the ground below. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation. This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. IN ADDITION, abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic, or video evidence or abatement or other written records.
