1910.1200(h)(3)(iii) Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used: 29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. a) 9300 Olde Scotland Road Shippensburg, PA 17257 - On or about June 18, 2025, employees prepared orders by picking, storing, and loading chemicals to include StorOx 2.0 in the loading area using material handling equipment. The nearest eyewash station was located in an adjacent chemical storage room that included a doorway and descending steps to access. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
