29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a) Worksite: 11 Lower Seven Ponds Road, Water Mill, New York 11976 - Employees were not wearing eye protection and was exposed to eye related injuries while operating an Oscillating Multi-Tool to cut a hole in the ceiling of a residential home; on or about 6/4/25. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
