29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): (a) On or about May 23, 2025, in the fabrication area, employee(s) operated the Niagara Press Brake HBM-230-10-12 without adequate guarding while performing routine fabrication work. King Kutter, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1701024, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/18/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 305 Commerce Drive, Winfield, AL 35594. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence, or written records.
