29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Jobsite: 1701 Market St, Philadelphia, PA - On or about May 27, 2025, the employer did not ensure that employees installing exterior wall tile from a horizontal walking working surface, which measured approximately 7 feet in length, 6 feet 6 inches in width, and 11 feet above ground level, and which had unprotected sides and edges, were protected from fall hazards by using a fall protection system.
