The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated under 1926.502(e). a) On or about May 23, 2025, the employer failed to ensure that employees, patching cement work in the retaining wall while using a Genie telescoping boom lift, were properly utilizing a conventional fall protection system. As a result, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 6 feet.
