29 CFR 1926.651(i)(3): Sidewalks, pavements, or appurtenant structures had been undermined and a support system or another method was not provided to protect employees from the possible collapse of such structures: a) On May 2, 2025, at the Foxdale Water Main Project in Winnetka, Illinois, employees were exposed to pavement collapse while walking on pavement above and performing work in an excavation under areas of pavement that had been undermined.
