29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l) as incorporated by reference under 1926.602(d): a) 4807 Long Beach Blvd., Beach Haven, NJ: The employer did not ensure that the foreman and workers, who utilized a JLG Skytrak 8042 lift at the worksite, had received training which included formal instruction, hands on and an evaluation with a written certification of completion, on or about 04/24/2025. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
