29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, shall be rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m), nor contact any lower level. On or about April 17, 2025, at the jobsite located at 2584 N Stellita Circle in De Pere, Wisconsin; an employee was engaged in roofing activities on a one-story residence and was not protected from striking the ground when their personal fall arrest connector was not rigged such that the employee would not strike the ground in the event of a fall.
