Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii):Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields: a.) Cavco Industries, Inc dba Cavco Clarion, Welding department area, on or about April 10th, 2025, and times prior thereto: Employees working near MIG welding operations of various metals were not protected from welding rays, in that, welding shields or screens were not set up around the welding operations. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
