Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to live electrical conductors from unprotected lighting fixtures: a.)F/V Stellar Sea: In the Maintenance Shop, in front of the tool bench, there were two four-foot fluorescent lighting fixtures 6'8" above the deck with covers missing. b.)F/V Stellar Sea: In the Maintenance Shop, in front of the bow storage area, there were two two-foot fluorescent lighting fixtures 6'9" above the deck with covers missing. c.)F/V Stellar Sea: In the Maintenance Shop, at the bow storage area, there was a two-foot fluorescent lighting fixture 4' above the deck with the cover missing. d.)F/V Stellar Sea: In the Welding Shop, there was a four-foot fluorescent lighting fixture 7'2" above the deck with the cover missing.
