Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees working on the grow platform were exposed to fall hazards from unprotected edges: a) Climate Platform Walkway - On or about March 21, 2025, employees walking to their workstations were exposed to fall hazards of approximately nine (9) feet, six (6) inches along the unprotected leading edge of catwalks on the side of the grow platform. b) Grow Platform Catwalks Between Lines - On or about March 21, 2025, employees walking to the grow platforms were exposed to fall hazards of approximately ten (10) feet along the unprotected leading edge of the catwalks between the lines on the grow platform. c) Grow Platform- On or about March 21, 2025, employees climbing out on the grow structure to unjam the gutters were exposed to fall hazards of approximately nine (9) feet, six (6) along the unprotected leading edge of catwalks on the side of the grow platform.
