29 CFR 1918.35: Employees were working around open weather deck hatches which were not protected by coamings to a height of 24 inches (0.61 m), or by taut lines or barricades at a height of 36 to 42 inches (0.91 m to 1.07 m) above the deck. F/V Alaska Rose, Tank 1: On or about March 5, 2025, and at times prior thereto, employee(s) were working near an unprotected hatch, which measured 24.5 inches long, 16.5 inches wide, while observing the fish removal process. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to fall hazard(s).
