Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Main Service Panel - On or about February 26, 2025, an employee was exposed to live parts and arc flash hazards when working to install 2 Current Transformers (CTs) in the Main Service Panel (240 Volts) with a red wire that had damaged insulation exposing the wire to the edge of the Main Service Panel. There was no adequate examination of the electrical equipment with the main service panel not being free from recognized hazards with the red wire's insulation being damaged.
