29 CFR 1910.106(b)(6):Chemicals were not stored in a location where flammable vapors are not present, precautions were not taken to prevent ignition by eliminating or controlling sources of ignition. Sources of ignition include; open flames, lightning, smoking, cutting and welding, hot surfaces, frictional heat, sparks (static, electrical, and mechanical), spontaneous ignition, chemical and physical-chemical reactions, and radiant heat: On or about February 26, 2025, in the painting area, employees used a spray gun to paint steel beams in an area that was not free of sources of ignition or open flames.
