29 CFR 1910.23(c)(7): The employer did not ensure that ladders placed in locations such as passageways, doorways, or driveways where they can be displaced by other activities or traffic are properly secured or guarded. a) On or about February 22, 2025, in Building 1; employees utilized a portable ladder while installing handrails on a cold box; the ladder was not secured or guarded to prevent accidental displacement or to keep traffic away from the ladder work area.
