29 CFR 1910.147(d)(5)(i): Stored Energy. Following the application of lockout or tagout devices to energy isolating devices, all potentially hazardous stored or residual energy was not relieved, disconnected, restrained, and otherwise rendered safe. (a) On or about January 31, 2025, in the line 08 area, an employee conducted maintenance on the line 08 offline grinder without ensuring that the grinder blades had come to a complete stop following application of his lockout device to the electrical disconnect.
