Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. On or about February 4, 2025, during the installation of siding material at a job site located at 3822 Golden Wood, Uniontown Ohio 44685; during the installation of siding material, the employer did not ensure employees working on the ground were protected from possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, falling debris from working surfaces of heights approximately 12 feet. The ARLEY CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATION, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.100(a) Head protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1564282, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (1/26/2022), with respect to a workplace located at Building 16 Woodcroft Trace, N. Royalton Ohio 44133.
