29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by: Employees were exposed to amputation and struck-by hazards. Employees engaged in fabrication activities at CECO, Inc. in the shop area, were exposed to amputation and struck-by hazards in that machine guarding was not provided on the Wen benchtop drill press. Ceco, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1512075, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06-09-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 4125 W Pawnee St. Wichita, KS 67209.
