29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure employees used eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) New townhome construction located on Lot# 89; second floor: On or about January 07, 2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic framing nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees operating these tools while engaged in framing activities. The Salazar Castillo Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1550190, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 01-13-2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #67 Birchmore Drive, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Salazar Castillo Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1426531, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/10/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 125 Oakleigh Manor Drive, Fayetteville, GA 30215.
