29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s) a. Lot 22 - On or about January 3, 2025, employees engaged in framing work to include using ladders, working from height, and operating saws and nail guns, were doing so without the employer performing routine inspections of the jobsite to evaluate and implement safety measures to ensure the employees had and were using the appropriate methods and safeguards to not be exposed to fall and struck by hazards. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
