29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: Engineering Shop: On and or about December 13, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the gap for the tongue guard on a DeWalt Bench Grinder was no more than 1/4 inch. This condition potentially exposed employees to amputation hazards.
