29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a) CAR-Freshner Corporation, 22569 Fisher Circle, Watertown, NY -SIPCell, Wrapper Position, FMC5. On or about November 25, 2024, workers were exposed to unguarded pinch points while conducting film changes at the Campbell Wrappers. The employer did not ensure pinch points were guarded, resulting in an amputation of an employee's fingertip.
