29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a) R.S. Hanline and Company on or about December 2, 2024, at the location of 17 Republic Avenue Shelby, OH 44875: The employer did not ensure the Tomato Roller Grading Belt was adequately guarded to protect employee from rotating parts. Due to this condition, employees tasked with grading tomatoes were exposed to a pinch point hazard created between the metal shoot and a power-driven roller.
