29 CFR 1926.652(g)(1)(ii): Shields were not installed in a manner to restrict lateral or other hazardous movement of the shield in the event of the application of sudden lateral loads. (a) 1295 East Main Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552 - employees conducting concrete pipe installation approximately 8-feet, 6-inches below grade were exposed to struck-by hazards related to approximately 2-feet, 6- inches of unfilled space between the trench's sides and the trench shield system, on or about December 4, 2024. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
