29 CFR 1910.138(a):The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes: (a) At the shop, located at 4208 CR 124-A, Wildwood, FL 34785: On or about 10/29/2024, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards, in that, the employer provided loose fitting gloves for employees performing maintenance on machinery with moving parts such as asphalt pavers.
