29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: Location: Backroom On or about October 30, 2024, employees were exposed to fire related hazards when working in the backroom where the exit routes were less than 28 inches. Instance A - Row 54 had 3 rolling carts lining one side of the row limiting the egress route to approximately 19 inches of travel width. Instance B - Dock exit door had boxes and a rolling cart limiting the egress route to approximately 14 inches of travel width. Kohl's Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1624731, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on 11/09/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 2700 Roosevelt Road Marinette, WI 54143.
