29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv):Employee(s) working in an aerial lift were not standing firmly on the floor of the basket: On or about October 23, 2024, and at times prior thereto, employees used the mid and top rail to step out of aerial lift basket elevated 19 feet above ground, while performing sign panel installation. Comet Signs was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1493457, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 3, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 14325 Potranco Road, San Antonio, TX. 78245.
