29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed. Location: Stock Room. On or about October 10, 2024, the employer did not ensure that exit routes and the only emergency exit door in the stock room were kept clear of merchandise and a manual roller conveyor that could impede employees from exiting the building during an emergency. The TJX Companies, Inc. were previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection #1376363, citation #1-1, and was affirmed as a final order on 11/02/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 11111-16 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida, 32223.
