29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: At the commercial facility located at 1615 W Arrow Street, in Marshall Missouri 65340, on October 2, 2024, and at times prior: The employer did not establish a monitoring program for work areas or tasks where employee exposure equaled or exceeded the action level of 85 decibels measured on the A-scale. Employees were exposed to continuous noise levels higher than 85 dBA in the following areas: a) Sandblasting - An employee was exposed to continuous noise level at 421.1% dose of the allowable 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 dBA or an equivalent sound level of approximately 100.3 dBA. The sampling was performed for 358 minutes during one shift.
