1910.132(d)(1) The employer shall assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). On or about September 23, 2024, a wheeler loader that routinely traverses to and from an overflow bin struck a pedestrian employee which resulted in fatal injuries. The worker was not wearing ahigh visibility clothing.
