29 CFR 1910.176(b):Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: a) Stock Room: On September 20, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and fire hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that delivery packages were stacked securely to prevent collapse as employees store, move, and retrieve inventory in the stock room. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1657050, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 12, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 11585 Jones Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30022.
