OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in those employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while crossing live lanes of high-speed traffic to perform work: On or about September 18, 2024, on the I-55 Southbound bridge, employees were patching a bridge joint on the shoulder of the right lane. Employees exited left lane closure on foot and crossed the open right lane to perform work on the shoulder.
