OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to crushing hazards while operating a zero-turn lawn mower without the Roll-Over Protection System in place. Location - 129 Dugan Rd Kent, CT: On or about September 10, 2024, an employee sustained fatal injuries when a Scag Turf Tiger II riding lawn mower?overturned while operating on an embankment with the grade sloped between approximately 26 -30 degrees.
