29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2):Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. a) Backroom Processing Area: On or about September 10, 2024, the employer exposed employees to entrapment hazards caused by stored merchandise in aisles near work areas where sorting and placement of merchandise onto carts going to sales floor. The HomeGoods, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.36(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1448923, citation number 1, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/29/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2339 SE Federal Highway Stuart, Florida 34994.
