29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c): (a) At 93 Kingston Highway NW, Cartersville, GA 30120: On or about August 27, 2024, in the 27 feet long by 14 feet deep trench, the employer did not provide an adequate protective system, in that several feet of the trench was not protected, exposing employees to cave-in hazards.
