29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c): (a)Soukup Construction, Inc. at 9308 West 32nd Street Sioux Falls SD, 57106: On or about and at times prior to August 13, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees performing work in an excavation at depths greater than five feet were protected from cave-in hazards by an appropriate protective system. This condition exposed employees to cave-in hazards.
