29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not protect each employee from fall hazards while performing roofing activities on residential structures with unprotected sides and edges at height of approximately 20 feet above the ground by the use of guard rail systems, safety net systems, and or personal fall arrest systems. This most recently occurred on August 9, 2024, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 7830 Chatham Ave. NW, North Canton, OH; the employer did not ensure that all employees working on the roof of a single family home were protected from a fall of approximately 20 feet by utilizing a fall protection system. C.R.H. Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501 (b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1676422, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/3/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 15 Brewster Drive Tallmadge, Ohio. C.R.H. Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501 (b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1659489, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/03/2023 , with respect to a workplace located at Lot 34 Jacobs Ridge, Uniontown, OH. C.R.H. Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501 (b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1601607, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/30/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 23567 Rebecca Ln., Columbia Station, OH.
