29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit": a) Pipe Shop, Mechanical Equipment Room #5 (Bldg. 100): On or about July 22nd, 2024 the designated emergency exit doors that opened into the exit access were not equipped with exit signage. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1651105, citation no. 2, item no. 1, and was affirmed as a final order on May 23rd, 2023 with respect to a workplace at Vancouver, WA. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1650384, citation no. 2, item no. 1, and was affirmed as a final order on May 23rd, 2023 with respect to a workplace at Vancouver, WA.
