29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1):Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition: a) 6955 Chrisphalt Dr., Bath, PA 18014 - facility wide - On or about August 6, 2024 - tires on the 2012 Yale, Serial # A910V19228J Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) were found to be worn with areas of cracking and chunking. These conditions can cause unsafe travel and loss of control of the PIT resulting in an employee injury. b) 6955 Chrisphalt Dr., Bath, PA 18014 - facility wide - On or about August 6, 2024 - tires on the Hyster 50VX, Serial # A910V10971K Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) were found to be worn with areas of cracking and chunking. These conditions can cause unsafe travel and loss of control of the PIT resulting in an employee injury.
