29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids, caustic liquids, or chemical gases or vapors and at times prior thereto, workers were exposed to a struck by hazard while cutting concrete with a saw, without the use and wear of protective eyewear: a. At a new residential construction site, located at 63 Lachlan Circle Seaton Creek Dr. Jacksonville, FL: On or about August 6, 2024, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that protective eyewear was not utilized by employees while using an electrical saw and nail guns for framing work.
