29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 200 Market Street, Montvale NJ: (Flemings Steakhouse) Employees engaged in carpentry activities while positioned on an elevated work platform were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet to the asphalt below as a means of fall protection was not being utilized. Condition observed on or about 08/02/2024.
