29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): On or about 07/24/2024, on the roof of a residential structure located at 5801 N. Ocean Boulevard, Ocean Ridge, Florida, employees performing roof work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 21 feet-6 inches while not being protected from falling to the lower level. Garabar, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544023, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/11/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 17058 Boca Club Boulevard, Boca Raton, Florida, 33487.
